Courage Tales Stands Against Bullying

International Day Against
Bullying – 6th November

BOOKS

Did you know that spending just 15 minutes a day reading empathy stories can help your child better understand their own feelings and those of others? Research shows that bedtime stories focused on kindness and empathy support children’s emotional growth. By including sweet, short bedtime stories in your nightly routine, you’re not only helping your child drift off to sleep—you’re also nurturing their ability to be caring, kind, and connected. It’s an easy and effective way to develop emotional skills that will last a lifetime. These stories create a safe space for children to explore emotions and learn valuable lessons.

TOURS

At Courage Tales, we strongly believe in the power of storytelling as a tool to teach empathy, compassion, and courage. On this important day, we reaffirm our commitment to using heartwarming, meaningful stories to help children connect with the feelings of others. Through engaging performances that address themes like kindness, inclusion, and emotional strength, we provide children with a safe space to reflect and relate. When children hear stories of characters facing challenges like bullying, they begin to understand the emotional impact behind such actions. This builds not only awareness, but also emotional intelligence and a stronger sense of right and wrong.

CAMPAIGNS

November 6, 2025 marks the International Day Against Violence and Bullying at School, Including Cyberbullying—a day dedicated to raising awareness about the emotional and psychological harm that bullying can cause. Around the world, millions of children experience some form of bullying during their school years. Whether it’s physical intimidation, verbal abuse, or online harassment, the effects can be long-lasting and deeply damaging. Victims may struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and difficulty focusing in school. This day reminds us of the urgent need to foster safe, respectful, and supportive learning environments where every child can thrive without fear or shame.

About Dagmara Sitek

Dagmara Sitek is a children’s author and mother of two whose work centers on helping kids develop resilience, empathy, and emotional awareness.

Through her stories, she explores how compassion can transform pain, especially the kind that hides behind bullying. Her goal is to help both children and adults see that every action has an emotional root, and that compassion is what helps a child grow stronger.

Her award-winning debut book, Loris Opens Up His Heart, was inspired by the heartbreaking story of Kamilek Mrozek, an eight-year-old boy from Poland who suffered abuse. The story stands as a tribute to courage and empathy, showing how even small acts of compassion can break cycles of harm and bring light into the darkest situations.
